Sweet 16

Our oldest granddaughter Anne Marie just turned 16. The family came over, and we had some spring desserts and gifts. I made this tray of goodies.

Some Peeps & candy eggs

And I made nests with this edible grass and put candy eggs inside.

Among other things, we gave her this gift card shaped like a bunny. They all thought it was so cute!

Our granddaughter Dara had just gone to the beauty salon for the first time and gotten her hair cut & styled.

And here is the birthday girl herself. She is now so much taller than me, has a job, and is learning to drive.

I bought some wreath-shaped ones for stocking stuffers last Christmas. Happy Sweet Sixteenth Birthday to Anne Marie! xoxo

Those Peeps and candy eggs look Yummy. It reminds me to get some Easter candy at the store before it's all gone haha. And a cute photo of you and the birthday girl. Sweet 16 is such a special birthday.

Sunday Sunset

I snapped these from the Target parking lot. The sun had just gone down, but the trees were hiding the very bottom part of the sunset. Life...
