The barbershop a few blocks away always has something strange and interesting out front. This is a moose made with a wooden head.
They put bunny ears on him for Easter
This barrel has a goofy personality.
And there is always something planted in the big bathtub.
In a previous year, they made this Easter Bunny from bed pillows.
This strange wooden bird. Looks kind of Mayan.
And they still have their barbershop quartet.

Interesting. But that rabbit of bed pillows is truly, strange.
That moose looks rather cute with his bunny ears. They sure have some interesting decorations. The barbershop quartet is my favorite.
You find some if the best things...love coming and finding posts like this.
I love it all!!! someone there is gifted and oh so creative... strange and cute at the same time.
These awesome creations are neat!
I love this barbershop and remember the pillow figure. I like it when people make an attempt to decorate the world with cheerfulness. At least they're trying to brighten up their surroundings, for the benefit of others. Your area seems to have a lot of that, Ginny. How wonderful. ~Andrea xoxo
Interesting things at that barber shop. :)
I say it again!!! You have such fun people, in the place where you live!!!!
And this makes a great blog look!

It is an artist's colony where you live for sure.
Strange but inventive creations. I do really like the barbershop quartet.

Very clever and creative and I do like that quote. Thanks Ginny!
I especially like the bathtub filled with plants.
Ps...Ginny, in regards to the great egret breeding colors
..I'm pretty sure both male & female get the green by their eyes. And the both grow special feathers during breeding season.
Someone at the barbershop is very creative!
Husband and I took a drive around our coastal town earlier today. it was great and a bit nostalgic to see some of the changes in the old neighborhoods, including where we lived for more than 40 years before we built our new home in the same town. But nothing I saw is close to the fun sights you shared!
I think they all have wonderful personalities. I drive around all the time - but I never see anything like this at all and if I did I wouldn't know how to stop and get the photo. You must really live in quite an awesome city.
Interesting stuff for a barbershop!
That Easter bunny made with the bed pillows sure is cute. And the barbershop quartet is delightful. I love that quote, and it's so true, isn't it? (there's always one in the group that knows everything about everyone). ; )
