The Heart Of The Matter

These hearts are from two different exhibits at a local college, years apart.

“So those who went off with heavy hearts will come home laughing, with armloads of blessing.”

Psalm 126

Interesting. Now I'm wondering if this college is for medical students or are these meant as art work.

I hope it's art only and not any hints of health!!

I was kind of wondering the same as Anni...were these seen as part of a fun visit or were they seen while seeing a doctor.

the creators are talented and I know they had a reason other than art, but not something I want around for me to see. looking at it here is fun though. when bob had open heart surgery, they called me several times to tell me how he was doing, it was a long surgery. one of the calls she simply said, he is on the ventilator, the heart is out of the body and the top photo here is what popped in my head. scary as all get out

I have hearts on my mind......my friend, BB, has had a heart condition all his life and is in a life and death situation right now. If he survives, he will have a new lease on life. We all need to guard our hearts in more ways than one. Louis Dean has a cardiologist appointment in May so I will e thinking about hearts for several weeks!

That must have been interesting to see the heart at the college exhibit. And I absolutely LOVE the verse on your post today, Ginny. It made me smile this Tuesday morning.

My heart is heavy today - Just wanted to tell you our beloved Disco crossed over the Rainbow Bridge yesterday - we had to put him to sleep. So just trying to recover for a few days.

I like the Psalm and the promise of Gods healing over what weighs us down
Those hearts sure don’t look like the little valentine type
Have a blessed day

Interesting difference from the Valentine heart! Love it.

The pattern for the coffee stitch is But First, Coffee by Brenda Gervais. You can get it on Etsy. Or maybe 123 Stitch.

I like the second one better. I can enjoy the pattern without it looking so much like the real thing. ๐Ÿ˜Š
