The Houses

Time for my yearly drive around town to look at any Easter decorations. For some reason, there were hardly any this year. This house uses the unattractive back of their bush to display decoration throughout the year.

A pretty Easter egg wreath

Mardi Gras instead of Easter.

A very crooked rugged cross

A cute front door

And a rabbit showing their address

"Easter," all her birds are singing,
Easter, and the souls of men,
Lying long in strife and shadow,
Take the light of heaven again.

Pretty and cute Easter decorations. We have none here or I didn't notice any.

Nice variety of Easter decorations :)

Cute decorations. I haven't noticed any decorations out at all around here. That's a clever way to decorate that bush.

They are all beautiful in the eyes of the people who decorated!!
Happy Easter.

the mardi gras is beautiful, but Not Easter, that ugly bush would have to go, it upsets my OCD.. I think Jackie is right, we all see with different eyes. wonder why there are no decorations, usually you have tons of them. where we live no one decorates for anything except at Christmas and Halloween has a few

Wow, some really go all out for it...

Nice! I never see any Easter decorations around here. I guess our weather is not conducive to it! xo Diana

How interesting!

Using the cut side of a bush, to hang decorations on.

Guess that's making the best of a bad situation. :-)

I haven't seen a single decoration in our neighborhood this year.
No one around here is very interested in seasonal decor...except Christmas and a few for Halloween.
I do like the cross best myself.

It's always fun to see the different house decorations for each holiday, Ginny. I like that rabbit with the address numbers, so cute. The Cross with the words He is Risen! is wonderful with the Purple. And the egg wreath is simple and sweet.

Happy Easter to my special blog friend.

It is interesting how they decorate the bush in the first photo. All nice photos celebrating Easter. We have a few decoratings in our neighborhood.
