We did something fun this weekend. Well, fun for a small town. So here is a little tease for you, can you guess where we went? I'll show and tell on my next post.

Ollie's? We have one, but I've never been.

That looks like the sign for Ollie's. There is one about 30 miles away. I've been there a few time.

I know! its Ollies... we went once when they opened it a few years ago, made the mistake of going to grand opening and bob would never go back. I think that was maybe 5 or 6 years ago.. I know you had fun and waiting to see what you bought

I don't know what Ollies is, so I'd say some Old place or other.

Yes, our hound dog mix, Bandit was bitten on a 4th of July weekend with no vet. Inside his mouth on his cheek. He had recently been vaccinated. I was alone up here, could not get to the vet until MOnday. Gave him Benadryl and stayed up all night with him. He looked like he'd been hit by a truck. Suffered so. But survived. It was our first summer here, so I learned to get the vaccine early.

You only see the snakes in the spring, I usually see one or two every spring, and blog about them. When it gets hot they are out at night.

Ginny, No, I don't know what the berries on the tree were. At first I thought they were flowers blossoming, but with a closer look, I believe they were berries. And I do hope that the birds can eat them and they aren't poisonous. They were really pretty though, with a purplish/blue color to them. And they were small, like the size of a blueberry. : )
