A Hot Day At The Craft Fair

First, I am taking the day off from visiting blogs today. We have a busy day and will be gone most of the day. We have two medical appointments, a high school competition with our granddaughter, and tending a friend's cat.

We walked around an outside craft show last weekend. I got some pictures, but it was so HOT! Way over 90!

There was live music as well.

Perhaps this booth was homemade dog treats.

I was tempted at this booth.

What do you think these things are? I have no idea.

Whatever they are, the artist was sitting there carving more of them.

This was another favorite of mine. People, creatures, and animals made from clothespins. Then made into magnets.

There were different themes. This one was The wizard Of Oz. See the Tin Man in the middle?

And so ends our little Craft Fair adventure. See anything you wanted? I am proud of myself, I did not buy one thing!

That was an amazing and interesting craft show! I enjoyed looking but I don't think I would have bought anything either!
Pace yourself!! You can't do everything so slow down and enjoy!!

That would have been fun if it had been cooler. I wilt in the heat. 😊

Nope, nothing I'd want or need.

Except for the heat, I would have enjoyed walking around there. I haven't been to a craft show in quite a while. If I bought anything it might have been something for Gibbs from The well balance paw.

I enjoyed your walk about and have no clue what the guy is carving but there must be someone who would want one to sit out somewhere. I am not a craft person, so would not even walk around the fair, and saw nothing i would buy or want if someone offered it to me... we are in the 90's and I can't even stand our back yard except before 9 am

Oh Ginny, craft fairs are my favorite thing! I could have browsed through this one for a long time. I really liked that section that you have on your Header. Looks so eclectic, one of a kind stuff, which suits me. Those bottle brush trees are so cute. And the clothespins are unique too. On my last trip, I stopped at my favorite shop downtown, and it was fun browsing. I didn't buy anything either, but it's sure fun to look, isn't it?

Have a good rest of the week, Ginny.

What a wonderful selection of photos! I am not sure what those interesting sculptures are about. A case of just plain old artistic expression, though there is nothing plain about them, that's for sure. Have a great day!

Ps...your comment you left for me on my blog disappeared before I could read it.

I love how you used some of what you saw in your header. It is very attractive. I hope the heat drops down a bit. We are having a weird cool then homt then cool mixed with violent storms and power outages. Busy is always good if you love what you do. Today I forced my vision to blog a rare but favorite thing for me. Loved seeing you post and recalling some of my similar times though my grand kids are just graduating from preschool and kindergarten. The older one and I are exactly 70 years apart and have July birthdays.

A craft show is fun to walk through. We have them here as well, but I rarely find anything I am willing to pay for.

It's so fun to walk around a craft show. I really like those clothespin creations too.

As I am downsizing I am going to try not to buy much more but I do love craft fairs. Fun!

What amazing creations. I rarely succumb to buying as our downsized nest has limited display space and my stroke related movement challenges make keeping everything cleaned and tidy a problem. For some people that is a priority. Hubby and I would rather be out and about meeting with friends or traveling to interesting locations near and far!
