Sunday Storm

Instead of my usual Sunday Sunset, today's post is Sunday Storm. Last night there were tornados all around us. A nearby city had over 40 buildings damaged. We spent the evening looking at this on our local T.V. channel.

For me, one of the only bad things about spring is the unstable weather and tornado season. I guess everything has it's downside. I am so very thankful to God that our city was spared. This nearby one was not.

A city about an hour north of us was hit by a tornado last week and 2 people were killed. There was widespread damage.
I'm thankful you were safe!

That tree loss is bad, but if human lives were spared, a tree can be replaced. How long does tornado season last?

Oh my word, Ginny! I'm glad you folks are alright and I'll pray for those who had damage. I hate the "waiting" when there are warnings issued. As you say, you can do nothing but watch the weather reports. I hope things have calmed down for you folks now. ~Andrea xoxo

I think that if we had no storms we would not appreciate the sunshine!

I'm sorry to hear there that the city nearby had damage from the tornado. Oh my, look at that tree that landed on the ground. We had rain this weekend. It was a strange rain, but I loved it, as we are in somewhat of a drought here.

Have a restful Sunday, Ginny.

I'm glad you were spared the worst. We are currently under a tornado watch, so the possibility is there for severe weather.
