Cat & Cow

The Big Cat & The Big Cow are now dressed for summer. The cat has a lovely bird's nest kind of wreath on his head.

And since this week is graduation, the Big Cow is dressed for the occasion.

I finally came to the conclusion that this thing on his head is a graduation mortar board cap. Because it looks like a tassel is hanging from it.

“A graduation ceremony is where the commencement speaker tells 2000 students dressed in identical caps and gowns that individuality is the key to success.”

Fun to see them dressed for the occasion. Enjoy seeing how creative people are. By the way, I found out that the Snickers Candy Bar was named after the favorite horse of the Mars family who run the big candy company. It is fun for me to find out these things so thanks for asking.

Well that's the smartest cow I've ever seen. How clever to put a graduation cap on him. The big cat is looking dapper as always.

Hilarious sculptures!

In answer to your question on my blog,, it is Cathedral of Christ the Saviour in Moscow. Demolished by Stalin in 1931. Rebuilt in the 1990's when Communism fell.

I always love seeing what the cat looks like! Had not seen the cow before, or don't remember it if I have.

Oh, I love that big cat. He looks so regal every time. I like the Spring wreath around his head. I just spent a lot of time with Nel's cat, and it was interesting to see how different they are than dogs. They get into everything, and pounce on something when you least expect it haha.

Have a happy May week, Ginny.
