Oh Dear

This just happened a couple weeks ago, only a few blocks from our house. Seems this bulldozer had a mind of it's own.

From our local paper:

·        A man was killed Monday morning after an unoccupied bulldozer got loose from a construction site. It damaged the Oak Hill United Methodist Church and a nearby house. It ran over a member of the construction crew working on site. damaged the Oak Hill United Methodist Church and a nearby house..

Technology is constantly improving our lives. Look at the cellular telephone. Just ten years ago, virtually nobody was able to get into a car crash caused by trying to steer and dial at the same time; today, people do this all the time.

oh no... pity the worker... the road must be sloppy... unexpected things do happy. Thank God the occupants in the house are safe...

This is so sad. Now I'm wondering how in the world it did that someone must have left it running I don't think they can start themselves. So so sorry to hear about the worker

Did someone leave the bulldozer running, and didn't realize this could happen? What a horrible accident! I too feel so sorry for those who were affected by it.

Oh dear, what an awful, freak accident! So sad for his family at this time of year. Dave Barry is one of my faves. Years ago, when he was a columnist for the Miami Herald, I sent him a couple of funny articles. I still have the two postcards he sent me in return, with a one-word response and his autograph! Funny guy. xoxo
