Heat Wave

We're in the middle of such a heat wave! It is to be 100 the next few days, and has been close to that for a week or so. And almost no rain. I guess most of you are dealing with the same thing, maybe even worse!

“Thank goodness it’s finally hot enough to justify my laziness.”

Thank you for the chuckle. I don't need heat to justify my laziness. 😊❤️

Extreme weather is everywhere now

you are hotter than we are, we are only in the high 90's but it is excessive heat and is effecting the three of us. no energy no desire to go outside. Beau and I take about 7 minutes longer to walk our morning walk because we walk so slow because of the heat. love this sign and I did laugh out loud

I'd be melting in that heat. Here we're back to ~ 60'F and rain today!

LOL, that sign is funny. It's been hot here but not that hot. Low 90's is the highest it's gotten but the humidity has been pretty high.

It's hot here, but not as hot as you have it. Love the sign!

Fun photo and quote Ginny! High 90s and 100 degree temperature tomorrow. Stay safe and cool!

It's supposed to reach the 100's this week here too, Ginny. That saying on the bill board is too funny. Try to stay cool in this heat. I do my cooking early, and try not to use the oven during the day.

Take care, and have a good week.

Now that's too hot for you and your area. We are finally down to 99F today.
That's a relief from 113F. for sure.
Stay cool and stay safe.

**Ginny, not sure what you meant by at the end, was that a turn and how long. But the hike in the cave wasn't really that long, less than a mile, and at the end of the walk, they come out in a different entrance than what they come in. Francesca happily shouted to me, "grandma" when she came out. But the cave is spacious, not narrow, and it is completely dark, so I'm glad my son brought the lantern. I wanted to go in myself, but I have a dreadful fear of mice, and the thought of one scurrying over my feet freaked me out haha. But if any of my loved ones go in it again, I'll sure give it a try. It's really quite pretty from the entrance, and incredible that it was formed by nature 20,000 years ago!

We are in the 90's - but I tell you it is hot and does not cool down at night!

Cute! It was in the 80's here today but VERY windy so it felt nice.

The cutest sign and perfect for what you all are experiencing. I'm sure hoping that you all have air conditioning? Hopefully this will not last long.
