Moonshine

On the outskirts of town, we happened to pass this building. It used to be a gas station. But what a difference now! What was going on?

One entire side had a mural that was being painted. And the artists were right there in the process of painting it.

What was it going to be? We returned a few days later to find out. It was all done.

A big moon proclaimed "Moonshine Market"! Yikes, will this place be selling only moonshine? And is moonshine even legal here now? And if so, where is the still? Cause I would love some photos of it. Without being shot.

I agree with Linda - there is always something going on over there!
I like the mural!

That's a pretty cool mural. I'm glad you went back to see the finished painting. Now hopefully you can find out just what exactly they are doing with the place

I want to know what it is going to sell too. You find the greatest things Ginny.
I love the flag no matter where it is!

I think moonshine is only illegal if you don't pay the taxes on it. You can get a permit to sell it.
So I would think that they probably are going to sell it there.

I like that sign haha. I remember the Baldwin sisters making moonshine on The Walton's, and they always called it Papa's recipe, not knowing it was moonshine haha. Gotta love those women. Did you ever find out if moonshine was legal in your state?

You always find such interesting things to take pictures of.
Love that very last shot with the quotes ending in "moonshine makes you forget all that." It made me chuckle.

What a great find. I'm so glad you went back and got the finished pictures. Maybe stop in again and find out what they sell? Love that last quote (although I don't drink moonshine).
