Today's full Cold Moon has a fitting name, as it's been so cold here. It is the last full moon of the year, and it rose while still daylight.
A very bright Jupiter is right beside it, do you see it on the far right?
This is my feeble attempt to snap Jupiter.

These are great I really liked how you had all the wires. They made very interesting focal points. Always enjoy your moon shots and that last graphic is a hoot. Stay warm!
The Cold Moon and Jupiter make such a beautiful sight! Your attempt at capturing Jupiter is lovely—keep going! 😊 You’re invited to read my blog posts too—hope you enjoy them!
I saw the Jupiter but had no idea what it was, it has been really bright and the moon is HUGE and BRIGHT.. it lights up our yard like the sun.. no flashlight needed for potty duty
a gorgeous moon Ginny and how neat it is that you captured the moon through all of the power lines.
Wonderful [ictures of the Cold Moon (and Jupiter).
I’ve not ever heard of a cold moon - interesting. I like your photos!
Beautiful moon shots! I do see Jupiter. It's been so cold here too.
Great moon pictures as always and yes I did see Jupiter.
I saw that cold moon in the morning the other day when I walked.
I didn't realize it was called the cold moon. Makes sense though because it sure is cold here. How cool that you even got a picture of jupiter.
Gorgeous photos!
So that is why it is so cold - lol. I agree - it is too cold to be pretty!
I did see this moon, but didn't go out and take any photos so glad that you did and shared here, Ginny.
Oh Ginny,, I'm glad you got to see the Cold Moon. A very pretty picture of the moon and Jupiter. It's been very cold here too. I got in my car early one morning, and it was 20 degrees. But Winter is my favorite up here. : )
Have a good week ahead, Ginny.
