Budding

The Redbud trees are in bloom now, and there are a lot around here. These are the prettiest ones I have seen.

Spring’s Herald:
In the forests where redbuds bloom,
Their petals chase away the gloom.
With flowers bright in pink’s embrace,
They mark the season’s gentle grace.
Through morning’s light and evening’s glow,
Redbud trees in beauty grow.
In every bloom, a story’s told,
Of nature’s wonders, pure and bold.
Redbuds in their endless grace,
A testament to nature’s place.

So pretty. I went for a walk in our local park the other day and saw a tree that was just starting to show signs of little pink buds. I couldn't help thinking how far behind we are here from some that I have seen on the blogs.

Redbuds are one of my favorite Spring trees. We have one in our back yard but it's not blooming yet. The ones you shared are gorgeous!

I never realised before that your pink trees are a different kind than ours.

The cherry blossom trees are gracing your area beautifully, Ginny. You took some lovely photos of them. The poem is delightful too. I am just starting to see the pink blossom trees come alive here, but there are more to come. Ours are a bit lighter in town.
