Dripping

The Wisteria are blooming now, and absolutely dripping with gorgeous lavender blooms.

Can you see the bumblebee?

Wisteria! Liquid floods of flowers
Shake softly down exultant showers,
And in the purple-deluged air
The sweetness seems to swoon and bear
My senses on a tide of dreams.

Lovely! We don't have any wisteria around here, but I have a shower curtain with wisteria pattern on it! :)

I love the wisteria, in your photos and in real life. it was in Savannah, but don't see any here. I see Dawn has it on her curtains and that made me remember its popular print this year, I saw it as wallpaper pattern and linens

Oh wow...that one bush is loaded with wisteria blooms. Ours has started turning gray and the leaves have taken over the blooms. Wisteria is one of my top loves for Spring season..

How beautiful! I use to have wisteria vines that we’re holding up our old fence. The roots and vines were the fence!

Love the Dripping Wisteria. Its so lovely and its one of my favorite colors. Our wisteria blossoms on short stumps so its really not dripping but I love seeing it among our weeds ..Haha..

The wisteria in your header is stunning. Such a beautiful color.
I haven't seen any in my neck of the woods.

We have wisteria everywhere. I am surprised that it grows by you. I was under the impressing that it only grew in the south. Who knew?

I dearly love wisteria and wish I had a bush of my own! Stephanie has one and I enjoy seeing it when I have occasion to visit her backyard!

Wow, your spring looks good. Nothing like ours. Yesterday was more snow. Today though just coooooold. Anyway, very pretty flowers.

I've always thought the Wisteria was beautiful. But I heard it is poisonous? Not sure if that's right or not. I like that small poem too, it's delightful. Such Purple loveliness on here today, Ginny.
