Thunderdome

My title refers to the Mad Max movie Thunderdome. And what we saw as we drove down our neighborhood street reminded me of something straight out of the movie!

And instead of tires, it moves on tracks, like a tank.

But behind all this imposing and frightening metal, there is a soft and vulnerable heart!

🛞 In desert’s glare, a warrior roams, Past rusted dreams and shattered homes. Engines scream and futures burn— In Max’s eyes, the lost return.

It looks like a machine that takes up the asphalt on a highway when they are getting ready to re-do the road. someone has a great since of humor by adding this adorable little bear...

I'm curious as to know what contraption this is! Looks very unusual. But that little bear peeking through is adorable. I remember the movie Mad Max back in the day.

It's a milling machine used to remove old asphalt.

Wow that sure a BIG piece of equipment. A few times we've had one of the blades for a wind turbine come through town. That's a sight to see!!! Those things a massive.
