A Patchwork

As we were driving today, Phil called the mountains a patchwork. Meaning a patchwork of light and shadow. I like the term! The sun had just come out after the rain.

Often here in Northern Ireland we talk about a patchwork of the different colours of Green in our fields.

Patchwork is the perfect word. So happy you captured the sun and shadows.
That quote is terrific too.

What beautiful pictures. Angels must have whispered in your ear to go out there and see the patchwork in the hills.
