First Signs

In the past week, I have been seeing the first signs of Fall. Perhaps you would like to see, too. A chill is in the air of an evening, and hay mazes are turning up alongside the roads. Soon, we'll be turning the heat up, wearing sweaters, and having soups and stews for dinner. I'm glad to live in a place where we experience all four seasons.

"Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers." Galatians 6:9

Love the changes of the seasons! Just wish three were longer and one was shorter, lol! But, Father knows best!

Beautiful pictures of all of the pumpkins and other Fall items... In my old church here in TN and the one in TX, they have Pumpkin Patches --where you can come and buy pumpkins. But they also offer storytelling for the kids and several other Fall activities... It's neat for families.

I'm glad that it's almost Fall--but the temperatures this week are supposed to be in the 90's ALL week long. SO--summer is still hanging on here. Darn!!!

Have a wonderful Sunday.
Hugs,
Betsy

These are the most wonderful array of pumpkins! The varieties we get/grow here aren't that vividly lined or coloured. I love to see Fall pictures. What a beautiful way to celebrate the change of season.

Thank you for stopping by my blog. I was out of blogdom for about two weeks and I have a lot of catching up to do. Loved your sunset photos! They are spectacular!

Have a great Sunday!

There's a nip in the air here this morning and there are pumpkins at the farmers' market and roadside stands. I picked up three pie pumpkins yesterday.

Camera report: Preliminaries done. Some photos taken. Now to figure out what needs to be done to get them into the computer. Fun!!

Best,
Bonnie

Oh, I love the pictures! Fall is not quite here yet as our daytime temps have not ventured far from the upper 80s and 90s. However, the mornings are starting to feel a little cooler, and a little less humid.

Reminds me we need to go down to the beach and look for the fairy tale pumpkins again. Must get one for the holiday pies this year.

Hi Ginny, Nice pictures and topic today - very timely. Just a quick few more days of summer left. Guess soon we will be enjoying the riot of reds, oranges, yellows, golds, purples and pinks that the trees here in the woodlands give us! Have a wonderful day!

I love these fall pics! We saw similar ones on our trip, but I haven't seen much here at home. It's still so very hot and dry here. But fall will come!

One of the things I love about fall is all the colors like those in your gorgeous photos. I am beginning to see a few pumpkins here so it won't be long. Our leaves are barely showing any color yet.

I love those white pumpkins but I don't see them here, maybe this season.

I think Fall colors are my favorite! We don't get much of a change in the leaves until late October here. We just got back from vacation and while in South Dakota I saw my first pumpkin patch. I loved it!

Your photos remind me that fall is here, but we've had a heatwave into the 90's the past few days. As much as I love fall, I'm a summer gal, and I just hate to give it up because fall always seems too short, and then I have winter to endure. But for now I'll just enjoy your tribute to fall.

This is such a nice assortment of fall pumpkins and Autumn loveliness Ginny!! So colorful- my favorite season! I have to have pumpkins around- You know this year is the first year in a long time it did not snow (I'm sure I mentioned that)... I'm close to the ocean, yet it even gets cool here (I know, I'm a baby)- I guess we need to climb the mountain to be reminded!
