A weed is a plant that has mastered every survival skill except
for learning how to grow in rows.
~Doug Larson
I grow old...I grow old
I shall wear the bottoms of my trousers rolled.
Shall I part my hair behind? Do I dare to eat a peach?
I shall wear white flannel trousers and walk upon the beach.
T.S. Eliot
The answer to my mystery fields of pink is our local peach orchard in bloom. There won't be peaches yet, because the blooms come long before the peaches. The blooms only last a few days as well, so I am so glad I got to see all this beauty. For once, I think I'd rather see than eat!!
“‘I’ll make a covenant of peace with
them. ..I’ll send down plenty of rain in season—showers of blessing! The trees
in the orchards will bear fruit,
the ground will produce, they’ll feel content and safe on their land, and
they’ll realize that I am God when I break them out of their slavery and rescue
them from their slave masters.”
Ezekiel 34

I'm speechless! Well, not really. I LOVE your header. You know I always love to see "my" mountains! By the way, my sisters are headed to me for our annual spring visit next week.
Best,
Bonnie
Adding to Larson's quote . . .or learn its proper place. LOL
Love springtime blossoms. so glad i don't suffer from allergies, etc.

Beautiful! I would never have guessed these were peach trees.
So beautiful!
I have never seen a peach tree in blossom...they are beautiful and your photo's are very clever.
I was pretty sure it was an orchard but didn't know what kind. Being a Georgia girl you'd think I would recognize peach blooms. LOL!
Your photos of the pinks are gorgeous Ginny.
Peach Trees? I wondered why they were in rows like that. Of course they are just beautiful. sandie
They sure look like redbud trees! I wonder if they smell as good as apple blossoms? Beautiful sight, Ginny!
Hi Ginny, such lovely photos. Your header is astounding.
Oh it's a local orchard! I had no idea they were peach trees. I wonder their flowers smell very sweet like peaches :-) They are very nicely in rows. I would love to walk in the rows and enjoy the bloom!
I love peaches! I never knew the blooms were so pretty.
i was born in peach country, Georgia and have never seen anything like this. the rows and rows are so special and amazing and beautiful. i would love to see them. do they smell good?
What a beautiful blooming peach orchard!! Wow.
All these peach trees in bloom is definitely a spectacular sight. I'm glad you were able to see and photograph this beauty. I hope the peach crop won't be hurt by a return of cold weather. We have frost warnings again tonight.
Ginny, how are you always in the right place at the right time to capture so many images of beauty, whimsy, and emotion?
The quotes were so apt, too.
Peaches are my favorite fruit.
Unspeakably Beautiful!!! Love these!
