These orchids are bluer than blue
NO editing did I do
Blue Mystique is their name
So take your guess and play my game
Here’s what I want to know from you
Are they dyed or painted, or really true blue?
In my next post you will find out
Just what these blues are all about.

This one I know--since we see the orchids at Biltmore. Blue Mystic is a Phalaenopsis Orchid--and is VERY real.... Expensive--but gorgeous!!!! Where did you see one?
Hugs,
Betsy
Beautiful, Ginny! Your posts are always magical and uplifting.
It's so blue....not dye?
Your eyes are sharp... can capture such a beauty!
Wow, that is a brilliant blue!
Your photo looks like a painting but I'm thinking that these orchids are true blue.
Wow how beautiful! My guess is true blue!
Nature is a true art :-)
I thought they were dyed. I think our Kroger sells them, but there may be real blue ones too.
i vote for true blue, although i have never seen a blue one. our Selby gardens has an orchid room and they have all colors, but not this beauty.
I've never seen a blue one before...it is awesome! So beautiful!
I guess it's good that I'm not the first commenter since I see there have been some experts ahead of me who know the answer! These flowers are magnificent, one more revelation of God's great glory!
What a beautiful orchid. I have visited a few orchid farms in Thailand.
Greetings,
Filip
I was going to say they are dyed, but then I read Betsy's post and I guess that would be wrong. I do know they sure are pretty.
Are they like hydrangeas perhaps, so that the colour is affected by soil acidity?
I've seen them at the store and have marveled at that beautiful color!
Oh goodness! I can only imagine that they are truly that blue!
Gorgeous!

Hmmm, I wonder. Was a blue vegetable dye added to the water?
Whatever it is - it sure is beautiful!
They are so beautiful, I just love blue flowers
Well since Betsy knows her flowers I'm going with her answer :) They sure are pretty.
Not sure I have ever seen a blue orchid. Very pretty indeed. When I first saw the large header photo, I saw a bird with it's wings spread out. Take another look, maybe you can see it as well..
Ha I know now - I read the answer before I read the question! sandie
