One More Thing...

After taking pictures of Anne in the basket, we got in the car and headed home. We went back to the end of the parking lot and turned around, and when we drove past, they were filling a balloon!!! We sat in the car and took these pictures. As soon as the balloon was up, it was deflated within a minute, just in time for a tremendous downpour!! It poured buckets! You can see in the first pictures how dark the sky had gotten. So watch along with us as the U.S.A. balloon inflates!
Our July Fourth is done now, and gosh, I have spent five days on it!

“My teaching, let it fall like a gentle rain, my words arrive like morning dew, like a sprinkling rain on new grass, like spring showers on the garden. For it’s  God’s Name I’m preaching— respond to the greatness of our God!”

How exciting that you got to see one of the balloons being inflated. But sorry the rain didn't let them keep it up. That one looks like one of the balloons we see here. You got some great shots especially the one in your header.

It's cool that you got to see them 'fill' the balloon tho!! At least part of your day wasn't disappointing. I like the fact you shared it all!

You've documented your exciting time - with all its changes - well! Great photos! June was a rainy month up here - usually we have those gorgeous balloons gliding overhead on week-ends! Missing them!

I love the patriotic balloon! It would be awesome to see it inflated. I wish I had the nerve to take a ride in one, but I'm such a sissy!

These pictures were so worth the attention you gave them. How wonderful that you were able to document the entire "blow-up" story from your car. And the colors are so striking, so vivid.

We came back from a visit with my MIL in the rehab center where she was for a couple of weeks, and both Hubby and I were exhausted and ditched our plans to watch July 4th fireworks show. I have really enjoyed the 4th through your camera.

You continue to let God's light shine. Thank you, Ginny.

Must be great to see a balloon with the American flag. Certainly when you love your country. Sometimes we miss this feeling, in Belgium we have patroism. The country is divided and many people would like to split it up.

Greetings,
Filip

It's the shame the rain had to put a damper on things. These are awesome shots though

Wwo this is super awesome. I've always wanted to ride in a hot air balloon but I am a bit afraid of heights so I have never partaken :)

The pictures of the balloon on the ground show how big it really is. I'm glad you got to see this -- and share it -- before you left.

These are fun to watch, but I have no desire to ride in it.
