A Friend's Accident

A friend died last night. Not a really close friend, but when he moved we kept in touch on Facebook. He was in his 20's, had a brilliant job, just got married a couple months ago. His whole life was ahead of him. He just bought a fancy new car. It was the car that killed him. Now he is brain dead and waiting to have his organs harvested.  I am the one to announce it all to the church, everyone is heartbroken. So I will not be visiting today, I will see you tomorrow or the next day. God is in control of everything.

So sad. When such a young person loses his life it seems even more tragic than when an older person dies.

Oh Ginny I am so sorry! It seems everywhere I turn there is yet another story of a young life taken in a car accident. You are right; God is in control. What a heartbreaking task to have to break the news to your church. Your faith shines through Ginny...it always does.
