No, I have not taken up drinking. When I say to let your light shine, I do not mean Bud Light. But football season is officially here. I know nothing about football. So then why am I posting about it? Because, to kick off football season, the stores are using cases of beer to make sculptures of football! And they have really knocked themselves out this time!! Do you see the Bud Light football player throwing a pass? And NFL spelled out with stacks of beer and soda? It is cool and artistic. So this is likely to be the only football post you will ever see me do. Go Redskins!!!! Er... a tribute to Phil's favorite team.

I don't know anything about football, either. But this is such a great display! The players made of cases are amazing. Look at the helmet..wow! Very creatvie and fun :-)
Go Bears! I prefer wine to beer. I'll have to be more observant at the grocery store because those displays are quite creative.

these are really really creative and i wonder why we don;t have these. were these WM? that is the only store i go in.... i like the hands and the helmet... and this tells what our country has come to that Beer Means Football...

I love football --but do NOT drink beer. My mother told me when I was a young child to learn to love sports --and I did. My Daddy took me everywhere with him --including to lots of games. SO---I was always a sports fan. Then I had 3 sons --and we all love sports... SO much fun!!

I attended football games in college - for the social aspects. But that's about it for me and football.
The NC Zoo is in Asheboro, which is just south of Greensboro. It is 2.5 hours from us, but worth the trip. It's the largest zoo in the US (acreage wise). It takes all day to go through it - so much to see. Everything is very well maintained and the animals always look healthy, which I like.
Looks like someone has gone all out to sell beer!
