Porch Fireplace

Well, I've seen everything now. A fireplace on the FRONT PORCH! Outside! And it is used, look at the chimney. I can't think of one reason for this, can you? I would love to ask them!!

“When all Israel saw the fire fall from heaven and the Glory of God fill The Temple, they fell on their knees, bowed their heads, and worshiped, thanking God: Yes! God is good! His love never quits!”

It's something I wouldn't do, but I have seen fireplaces on patios..so, why not on a porch?

By the way, the large disk on top of the plane is radar equipment.

What a great find! I've never seen one on the front porch before. Have a nice day.

I've heard of having fireplaces on back patios but never on a front porch. They obviously like being outside and enjoy using their front porch a lot.

It's a first for me! However, one should feel most welcome when greeted by a roaring fire on the front porch!!

Best,

I love it and would love to have one just like it... so much safer and easier to clean out. i wonder if maybe there was a room addition they tore down? or maybe they wanted and outdoor fire. i do have to say, i have never seen one before and if i built it i would do it on a back porch for privacy.... get Phil to knock on the door and ask for details. waiting for your follow up post. I LOVE THE HEADER

That would be perfect. As the weather gets colder you could still sit out there and be warm.

They just don't want to give up sitting on the porch so a little fire is good thing.LOL

To each his own. We have a chiminea out back. It's really nice when sitting outside in the spring and fall. I suppose the fireplace would do the same thing, only better. Cool find!

I have seen fireplaces on screened in porches and patios but usually at the back of the house. We have a friend who has one and uses it for cooking. But I wouldn't want one on the front of the house.

I am with you, at 85 never saw this before. I love fireplaces regardless of where they are located.
