Clear Skies

A few days ago, we had yet another snow storm and got six inches. The sky was white and grey.

But today the skies are this wonderful deep blue! Phil says the snow cleaned the air so that is why the sky is so blue. Not only that, we get an extra hour of light from now on, then spring! Happy days are here again!

Grey skies are gonna clear up
Put on a happy face
Brush off the clouds and cheer up
Put on a happy face
And spread sunshine all over the place
And put on a happy face
Songwriters
LEE ADAMS, CHARLES STROUSE

“He was standing on a pavement of something like sapphires—pure, clear sky-blue. He didn’t hurt these pillar-leaders of the Israelites: They saw God; and they ate and drank.”
Exodus 24

What a beautiful blue sky. So mother nature does spring cleaning too huh? Now she needs to clean up some of this snow that's laying around.
I'll put on my happy face this morning and try to spread some sunshine

Lovely! Enjoyed your snow photos Ginny. We still have quite a lot down here but the 50 deg. temperatures yesterday got rid of some. We may be getting a flurry in a few days but I guess that could change. Happy day to you! I read Catherine's comment. Is it your birthday today? Happy Birthday sweet Ginny :)

I hope it lasts for you for a good long while. Melt away and pretty carpets of flowers to replace all the white.
