The Glass Spiders

These are hand blown spiders from a glass blowing store nearby. I hate spiders, and these are huge. So let's just say I won't be buying any.

Now for some butterflies. That is so much better!

Hi Ginny

If I were a really evil mom, I would buy one of these and give it to my daughter. However, I am NOT a mean mommy.

Well, can honestly say they wouldn't be on my shopping list, but just like real spiders I find them interesting. Someone obviously took great pride in making them. I wonder how popular they are? Thanks for stopping by, George Eliot was a woman, one of the leading Victorian writers.

Hehehe. I have a spider that looks like those spiders. Well, I don't mind spiders. ;))

I don't have a problem with spiders. Maybe because of my love of Charlotte's Web. I wouldn't mind have one or two of them "crawling" around my house.

Best,
Bonnie

Wow, they are beautiful! The glasses are very colorful. Both spiders and butterflies are pretty, but I prefer butterflies, too :-)

I don't want any spiders in my home, not even pretty glass ones. LOL

The butterflies are more to my liking as well, but I could probably handle a glass spider.

You find some of the neatest things! I am not a lover of spiders, but I sure like these. And love that first butterfly.

They are also a bit too big for me.

Filip

quite clever. I doubt that I would ever buy something like that but if I had to choose I would rather have the butterfly than the spider

Intricate work, but I'm with you- I sure wouldn't be decorating with something that makes my skin crawl, even if it is beautiful artwork. Just the idea!

Quite artistic but I'm not into spiders either. Hope you had a nice birthday.

Well, if I had to have a spider, this seems like a good one to have.

I'm with you....I prefer the butterfly over the spider! Hope you will have a restful evening, Ginny.
