The Purse & The Rooster

I found a brand new Goodwill this week! As I am addicted a big fan of Goodwill, I was excited! My good blog friend Linda, always posts her Goodwill purchases, so I thought I would too! I got this purse, which looks like new and has lots of pockets. And this rooster basket. The rooster will be pretty in the kitchen. But he is too big for any of my decorative shelves, and I cannot figure out how to use him. I am not very creative. Any thoughts?

“Jesus said, “Don’t be so sure. Today, this very night in fact, before the rooster crows twice, you will deny me three times.”

MY SISTER HAS ALWAYS LOVED CHICKEN AND HAS THIS SAME LITTLE BASKET. SHE PUTS HERS IN THE BATHROOM TO HOLD AN EXTRA ROLL OF TOILET PAPER. LITTLE WEIRD BUT SHE LIKES IT.

Nothing like a good find at a good price, I thought maybe the rooster was for storing eggs.

Nice finds. I love goodwill. You could use rhe chicken as a catch all or just let it sit there and be cute

I would want the chicken, but I would probably not have bought it cause I am trying to get rid of things. But I still like it.

Cute chicke, I like LV's idea. The purse is really pretty. There are some great finds at Goodwill. Like Rose I am trying to get rid of things so haven't been in a while but love browsing. I always find something to bring home.

FUN!
I like the color of your new purse.
I think if you place the chicken out as a centerpiece on your table would be cute.
