A Thankful Easter

We were driving down a highway last week, when I caught a glimpse of what looked like two big Easter eggs on a porch! WHAT? We turned around and took a better look.

Yikes, it was two painted pumpkins, a boy and a girl. The boy seems to have a mustache. I cannot figure out what their hair is made from.

You can see on the bottom, where the paint stopped. I still think they look like Easter eggs.

“Life is a great big canvas, and you should throw all the paint on it you can. Different shades of life make the painting more beautiful.”

They do look like Easter eggs. I woner if the hair looks like it might be made out of plastic bags that have been cut in strips

I love them - boy you have some wondering things around you. I think the paper is made from crepe paper. Adorable.

I'm sure it's for blue-men's cancer awareness and pink-women's cancer awareness [the month of October]

Sorry, Ginny, I failed to link the Red Knot in breeding colors to show the difference of them in winter/summer. It's been fixed now...and for you, here is the link :

Not sure what the hair is but they are really cute! There must be a little boy and a little girl living there. Ginny, you see the most interesting things! Thanks for sharing them with us.

How funny. They would have stopped me in my tracks, too.

:O You really have an eye for the unusual. I've never seen painted pumpkins before, I wonder how on earth they came up with that idea!
