A Mexican Lunch

Look who we came across awhile back! He was thoroughly enjoying his lunch, and would not budge no matter how close we got.

They zig & they zag across the street
Like they have springs on their tiny feet.
They must have more lives than a cat
To avoid being hit and ending up flat.

He must have felt like he won the lunch time lottery. Is that a tortilla?

He's beautiful, Ginny! Squirrels are one of my favorite wildlife animals. We even rehabbed a squirrel once, many years ago. Love, Andrea xoxo

I guess that lunch must be tasty and worth having the humans close.

Awe.....he's a cute little fella...or maybe gal? I like squirrels, but the ones around my house have sure been keeping me on my toes this year. They keep eating my bird seed.....

He looks very content. He does look a bit different than the squirrels we have here though. Great pictures!
Blessings, Joanne
