The Easter House Mystery

Some of you may remember when I posted this a few years ago. This house is in a rather run down neighborhood, but is amazing! We just happened to pass it one day, and I was stunned! Fortunately I had my camera. I called it The Easter House, and wondered about who lived there and why they did this.

The flowers continue around the house and partway down the street.

A week or so ago, there was a big article in the paper about this house, and it's owner. Complete with a picture of the owner! So it is a mystery no more. I will show and tell in my next post, along with some pictures of  the non-flower objects among the flowers.

“Spring flowers are in blossom all over. The whole world’s a choir—and singing!”

I do remember you posting about this house before. I can't wait to hear the story behind it. I can't imagine taking care of all those flowers. Of course with my lack of gardening skills they would all be dead in no time.

It looks very pretty. Now I want to know the story. Are they artificial flowers? If not they must take quite a while to water.

well here goes my comment from Logical, practical ME, the first thing I thought was what a waste of money. but then I think that when I see the Rose bowl parade, total waste of flowers and money.... I am waiting with bated breather to see why, and my guess is a memorial of someone who died.

That decorating was expensive.

I can't wait until I get to read about it.

That would certainly catch one's attention. I love flowers, but this may be just a bit more than I would prefer. I'm anxious to hear more about the background.
