Strawberry, Wheeling Birds, & Jupiter

Last night was the full Strawberry Moon! And I was there to snap it as it raised over the mountains.

See that star over to the right? That is Jupiter.

As I get closer, it looks like a white dot in the upper right corner, or like a spot on the camera lens.

Up closer, it kinda looks like flatbread or a pizza!

“God’s Word is better than a diamond, better than a diamond set between emeralds. You’ll like it better than strawberries in spring, better than red, ripe strawberries.
Psalm 19

WOW, awesome shots. How cool that you can see the moon and Jupiter in the same shot.

This month, it's supposed to be closer to earth (supposedly able to see some of its moons with binoculars)

Out of this world images Ginny.

I am surprised you stayed up so late. That you got all those shots. And that Jupiter can be seen that big. Amazing.

Do you always have a clear sky when it's a full moon?! (that's my impression from your many perfect moon photos...)

I saw something about this on the news. We have way too many trees around our place and to get some good pictures of the moon, we have to travel out and about. Great pictures.....
