Is It October Yet?

Is Halloween coming up? Have I missed something?

Because this weekend, our grocery store  had aisles of of Halloween candy, including marshmallow ghost and pumpkin peeps. Really, here it is. I could have sworn that I saw leftover fireworks just a few aisles away...

Maybe I should start my Christmas shopping, and get in shape for Black Friday.

Listen! the wind is rising,
and the air is wild with leaves.
We have had our summer evenings,
now for October eves.

Wow! When I saw those beautiful colors on the trees, I thought you were having a really early fall. Haven't seen Halloween candy yet, but my Hubby does most of our shopping. At least Christmas decorations have not appeared yet! Have a blessed week!

They sure do rush things. The worst part is by the time you want to buy the Halloween stuff it's all picked over.

Oh wow, already? It feels way too soon, but also, time flies---it'll be October before you know it. So it's a good thing to start Halloween and Christmas shopping early :-)
Love the photos of your granddaughters in costumes!

Halloween thoughts don't start for me until after Labor Day. Though by then there will be Thanksgiving and Christmas things in stores. I haven't seen candy yet in NYC, but I'm about to walk over to the drugstore and that will probably be the first things to catch my eye.

You've got to be kidding..... can you imagine the freshness of that candy in 3 months? You scared me for a moment, as I thought you had spotted orange trees somewhere. lol
