Mother's Day 2020

We could not get together with our son & family today due to the virus, but the kids made us some artwork, and I got flowers from Mike, with a hand drawn card attached. Here is what our middle granddaughter Dara drew. This is a perfect replica of their school's mascot, The Roadrunner.
Here is the real one in front of the school.

The youngest, Jazz, drew this. I love how she made the water in the vase look like waves in an ocean.
Anne Marie drew The Lion King
And flowers from our son & daughter-in-law.

Road Runner, I am curious,
      You've got me wondering why
You're always in a foot race,
      I've never seen you fly.
You run along the yucca ridge,
      And across the desert floor,
You run and keep on running,
And then you run some more...

You have received beautiful drawings ... they are perfect! Your grandchildren are talented!
The flower you got from your son & daughter-in-law is a petunia? I like the color!
I've been following you from the beginning, I'm third in the top row (with the blue pants)!
Enjoy your week. Ginny!

It looks as if you had a wonderful Mother's Day in spite of the restrictions that are in place in your area. Betsy was able to see two of her sons for the first time in ages, so she had a great Mother's Day.

I think the thought and work that went into the paintings were the most valuable gift of all.

Those cards/pictures are worth more than any store bought ones.

Your son and family sent you beautiful gifts for Mother's Day. So thoughtful of them to come up with the idea of sending you flowers and paintings from your grand kids.
