Playing

Here are some of the playhouses in our area. Did you have a playhouse or treehouse growing up? This one is clearly really homemade.

This one is like a castle fort.

This one looks like it is mainly for exercise.

So cute for a little girl to play house.

And an ark playhouse!

The last one...the ark looks like something built for a city park!

Wow, so blessed are the kids to have these playhouses to have fun with.

I never had one growing up. I do remember playing in cardboard boxes though.

Those playhouses make my imagination soar! Oh how I would have loved one as a child. In fact, I'd love one now as a grown-up! xoxo

I love the purple one! I did have a playhouse when I was a kid. It was a remodeled garden shed. I remember my uncle putting up paneling and a chalk board and it had orange carpet. Weird though, I don't have any memories of actually playing in it.

Tree houses de are prohibited in the Netherlands and the playhouses are very small!

Those are really cute! I remember making a playhouse out of a refrigerator box when I was a kid. But I had three brothers so it didn't last long!

I do not see any play houses around here unless they are in the backyard. Those are cute. We had one for our kids and grands - but they are grown up.

Re: Your comment on my blog today...

No Dear One, I did not make that cake. It was shown on the Beatrix Potter page. And it looked so cute. That I had to post it, even though it is past Christmas Cake Time. -smile-

As to how the mice were made... I think the recipe is on the same page, as the Cake is on. So that would tell, how they were made.

We never had a playhouse, but we built forts out of grass, wood, etc.

These are very pretty. When I was a young girl we would push sticks into the lawn and make rooms with twine, thus fashioning our own play houses. Of course they had to be cleaned up before the end of the day.

Those are some cute playhouses! I grew up on a farm and my Dad cleaned out a little shed for us to use as a playhouse. We had so much fun out there!

All those playhouses are delightful! I never knew what a tree house was or a play house until I came to the states 45 years ago. I wanted a doll house but Santa never brought me one, at least I never got a lump of coal, lol!

I did not have a playhouse but we pretended that certain areas were our "houses." I would have loved any one of these! Still would, hahaahaa xoxo
