My Mom was amazing. she worked two full time jobs up until she was around 65 and retired. After retirement, she worked part time. She did great for a woman who had no more than a 3rd grade education, because of illness.
With me. Of course I had been fussy and crying on the big photo day.

mother forget the infant at her breast, walk away from the baby she bore? But
even if mothers forget, I’d never forget you—never. Look,
I’ve written your names on the backs of my hands.”

Happy Mother's Day. Lovely photos.
Happy Mother's Day! Your mom had to be a courageous and determined lady. What a wonderful heritage to pass along to her daughter.
Happy Mother's Day to you, Ginny! Sorry for not dropping by sooner, these few weeks were hectic, running here and there like a spring chicken... hahahaa...
Anyway, hopefully my blog will be back in action now... seeing your mom's pictures, reminds me of my own mother and her endless sacrifices for me... really miss her very much!
A beautiful post my dear Ginny! Thank you for sharing the photos.
A sweet series of photos Ginny and treasured memories of your mother. The photos are wonderful and seeing you as a little girl, you were and still are a darling :)
*Ginny, I found the cup at Dollar General up here. It's such a fun store to shop at - lots of stuff for the holidays, and they have food and essentials too.
Yes, I'm Catholic, and that is the Catholic Church. I've been watching Mass online for awhile during this time, but sometimes I just go there and visit, say Hi to the Priest, and receive Communion. : )
Have a good week.
Oh Ginny that picture of you and your mom! That is so precious. What a beautiful lady she was. I hope your Mother's Day was all you hoped it would be, and then some. xoxo
She sounds like a remarkable woman.
