Virginia's motto is "Virginia Is For Lovers". So there are always quite a few big love signs on roads and public grounds. Here is the latest one we saw, in front of the library. I like it because people can come up to it and write on it! I think my favorite message is "Earl, stop driving!"
Here is Phil standing beside it.
“Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to
love one another. No one has seen God at any time; if we love one another, God
abides in us, and His love is perfected in us.”
1 John 4

I love it! ❤️
Love it. Did I ever mention that I was conceived at Fort Eustis, VA when my dad was stationed there in the Army? So it’s true. Virginia really is for lovers! I’m proof! 😜
That's pretty cool. I didn't even realize it was the word LOVE until I looked at the picture with Phil in it. I guess I was paying too much attention to all the things everyone was writing.
That love sign is excellent and lovely.
I hope Phil did not try to Sit or Climb on it. ha ha. love that little sign.. and my eyes went right to Earl Stop Driving, as you know, I do not ride with hubby behind the wheel. I would write I am driving, on there. not sure what that has to do with love, except I do NOT love to ride with Bob. ha ha
Love it, what a fun thing to do.
I see these Love Signs all over Virginia. The fact that you can write on this one sets it apart. Very nice! I like the one with Phil especially.
That is a pretty neat thing!
This sign is so GRAND and delightful. I love the fact that Virginia's motto is "Virginia Is For Lovers." Your title reminds me of the song, "All you need is love."

**It was so nice to hear that you love the decorative boxes too, Ginny, and that you have so many. Yes, the Dollar store has lots of them, and that's where I found the one on my post. : )
Very unique, and such a cute idea. always good to have Love expressed for all to see
You have the most interesting neighborhoods!
Haha that's great. For some reason "Earl, stop driving" made me think of how, in a cemetery in Georgia, TG and I saw a grave covered with a seven-foot ledger. There was nothing on it except at the bottom was written "Because your father never could grow grass." xoxo
Oh Ginny, you do have the best time finding fun things to share with us. Thank you!!

Very interesting for Valentines day.
Nice picture of Phil too.

I remember driving into Virginia and seeing a LOVE sign and being pleasantly surprised by the logo. Of course we had to stop at the visitors center and take a photo.
This looks like the Jesus People of the 1970's.
