Popcorn M & M's

While grocery shopping today, I spotted this. A new M & M's flavor, Buttered Popcorn! I picked up three bags; one for us and two for our family.

When you open the bag, it smells just like movie theater buttered popcorn!  When the girls came running out, Jazz, the littleiest, jumped up and down when she saw them. And I finally got a decent picture of them. Jazz still has missing front teeth.

The Bluebird

I saw this on a Words With Friends ad. I love it! It is a bluebrd made of paint sample stips! Sherwin Willimas also had a video of other birds flying to their nests, all made of paint strip samples. I was not able to edit it to get it more clear.

The Cat In The Moon

We were driving behind this car yesterday...

And saw the cat in the moon. I love it!

There is something about the presence of a cat... that seems to take the bite out of being alone.

My answer to yesterday's question is that we did not give them a dollar. We DO give money at times to people who stand on the road holding signs. But these people seemed rowdy and disrespectful. Plus they had no sign, so their orginal intent seemed not to be raising money.

The Trinket Conundrum

In the Target parking lot today, we passed this car. Several people seemed to be showing it off. Rats, I did not have my camera! A good bit later, I returned with camera in hand, and got this one shot. They were still there, and there were dozens of what look like trinkets attached to the car!

After I got this shot, the man in the back seat yelled out "Hey, I want a dollar!" Now, what would YOU have done? I will tell you what we did at the bottom of my next post.

Fake News Friday

We passed by the airpot pond the other day, and stopped to see what birds may be there. What is this, three swans?

No. Three fakes! They used to have one, but now they seem to have reproduced. Fooled again.

But a few yards away was a REAL Blue Heron! The fakes ignored it as I snapped.

A Lens Full Of Mist

Today we took another jigsaw puzzle to our granddaughters, and dropped it off on the porch table. They came out to wave with their dad, so I took a picture. But YIKES! It had been raining, and my camera lens was so wet with condensation! I could not wipe it off! Changing the picture to sepia made it a bit better, but not much. Have you ever had this happen?

They wrote us a letter.

When we got home, Simba informed us that we were idiots to leave the house in the rain. And did we bring back treats.

Clumsy

I have always been very clumsy. What about you? I have always had at least one bruise. And today was no different. You know those clear plexiglass dividers between grocery store cash registers, the new kind that try to protect from Covid? I backed into one today and scraped my back, see?

Then I closed the car door partially on my arm, giving it a brushburn. And walked into a doorknob, giving me yet another bruise on my hand. All in one day.

And just for reading about my pathetic day, here is some beauty. Flowers are always graceful.

Think Pink!

Washington D.C. just had it's Cherry Blossom Festival. I always try to post it every year, from our T.V., of course. There was so much ...
