No. Three fakes! They used to have one, but now they seem to have reproduced. Fooled again.
But a few yards away was a REAL Blue Heron! The fakes ignored it as I snapped.
“It's fake. I requested fake. Maybe I'm paranoid, but in this day
and age, I don't want something around my neck that's worth more than my head.”

Hey they were kind of cute.
I love the heron. :)
I would have NEVER guessed those were fake, Ginny. They definitely would have fooled me. Love, Andrea xoxo
The swans would have fooled me. I wonder if they are purely decorative or if they maybe keep other birds away.
Hmmm, wonder why they were placed in the park?
I wonder what the purpose of the fake swans is. The heron is beautiful.
From the distance, those swans look real! Funny they reproduced :-D Blue heron is beautiful. I wonder what real birds think of the fakes :-)
The heron is gorgeous. Do you know if there is a reason for the fakes?
Got fooled by the fake swan. It looks real.
I love the quote, truly I do... I feel the same way about jewelery . no one can tell the difference between fake jewels and real unless they have the eye thingy. so wear fake. of course the muggers might get a peron thinking they are real... that swan does not look fake.
Wonderful pictures of the real thing.
HaHa..love Rita Rudner's quote..and congratulations on fooling me too.
Perfect REAL heron for our viewing pleasure.
Sue
Some of those fake birds look quite real from a distance.
Those swans sure look real to me!
LOL...love the heron....and I feel about like Rita Rudner. Which is a good thing cause I don't have anything worth much to wear anyway.
I love herons!
And I agree with Rita Rudner. :)
Clever clogs!~ xoxo
Nice shots of the birds. I thought the swans looked very lifelike.
