Awhile ago I showed you our fall living room decor. Now this is the kitchen.
I got this jar at Dollar General.

Here is Phil as he waits in the doctor's office. Good news; a diagnosis of bursitis and an injection likely fixed it.
In front of the building were Japanese Anemones!
The first pretty tree of the fall!
The sun was low driving home.
And this is the worst time of day for deer running across the road!

NONE of the trees in the next photos were this color. They were all green. But it was the evening sun on them that made them look golden.

Once again, today we drove over the mountain to see a doctor. The registration desk had some interesting things. This woman was in line in front of us. What a colorful outfit!
This calendar for October is cute.
This was the best shot I could get of a Halloween gumball machine filled with miniature candy bars!
Upstairs at the offices, there were fall banners in front of each desk.
This desk had this cool object that lights up and moves. It has dragons inside!
This little dragon was also on the desk, his tail hanging from a potted plant.

You may remember the house that is totally painted and decorated for each holiday. Just a few days ago, I showed you this photo showing that they are back and have put up these Halloween decorations.
Well, they were not finished. Not even CLOSE to being finished!! They now have a flying witch and so many other things. I don't know how they crammed it all into such a tiny yard.

This was this evening's sunset. I just snapped it about 5 hours ago!

Ha1ve you ever heard of WAWA? They are a gas station/convenience store. 3 were just built in our area. We went to check one of them out. Come along inside!
Their menu is enormous! Many kinds of soups, subs, side dishes, quesadillas, and bowl meals. Many think their sandwiches are better than Subway.

Lots of coffee pots full of different flavored coffees.
Bags of coffee if you want to take some home and brew it yourself.
Their own brand ice-creams.
Soft pretzels of many different sizes; some as big as your head!
And different flavors of Conchas, which are a Mexican sweetbread. I had never seen any, so bought a couple flavors. They were good!
And so ends our short tour. Their name comes from the site of the company's first milk plant in the Wawa, Pennsylvania area. The name of the town Wawa is in turn derived from the Ojibwe word we'we, meaning snow goose, despite the company's image of a Canada goose.

Here are some of the houses in our neighborhood that are decorated for fall. There are many, so at some point I will likely have another post showing more.
This house always has the plant stand out front and changes it for the seasons. At Easter it has bunnies and eggs.
I thought these lights were beautiful.

This evening we happened to see the moon rising. It was not dark yet, and just around sunset. I thought it had the prettiest ring around it...
