These are all pictures I took of sunsets in the last month or so. Some of them are new, and some you may have seen before. Just one of the many reasons I love living in The Shenandoah Valley.
"Now no one can look at the sun, bright as it is in the skies after the wind has swept them clean. Out of the north he comes in golden splendor; God comes in awesome majesty. The Almighty is beyond our reach and exalted in power; in his justice and great righteousness, he does not oppress. Therefore, men revere him, for does he not have regard for all the wise in heart?"

that fiery sky looks magnificent. very captivating. i love the first photo... simply breathtaking.
If I visited your beautiful Shenadoah Valley, would you please guarantee a sunset like this every day?
wow....beautiful. Never tire of sunrise or sunset pictures...the richness of the colors.
Oh it must have been like heaven to watch those sunsets....so magical!!
Impressive. Where I live the sun sets behind other buildings so I rarely get sunset pictures like that.
The colors are amazing Ginny, you have some gorgeous sunsets on the Blue Ridge Mountains. I really like the fifth one down, it looks like a hand holding a fiery ball.
Wow, these are stunning- the whole series..I'm amazed and think it must be why!
my favorite is the 3rd one down. they are ALL maginifico!!!!
wonderful photos and they express the title of your blog perfectly.
let your light shine... and God's Light is shining in your post today. I am humming Oh Shennodoah as i type
I'm singing a duet with Sandra! Beautiful photos! When my mother saw sunsets like that in the Valley, she'd say "tomorrow is going to be delightful"!! Hope your day is delightful.
Best,
Bonnie

Hi Ginny, Thank you for sharing the magnificent beauty of your area.
Hi Ginny, How lovely is that? Very!
Have a splendid day!
Amazing! God blesses us with such beautiful things to see in this world. We just have to take the time to look....thank you for sharing.
Beautiful sunset photos, Ginny. It seems to me that we don't see as many sunrise pictures. Wonder why? Could it be that God is trying to say that our sunset years can be more beautiful than the beginning of the day? Just a thought.
May I steal one of your photos for my post today?
Stunning photos. We love driving the Shenandoah Valley. It is gorgeous.
Darryl and Ruth : )
Sunsets are my favorite. These are beautiful! K
Those are absolutely gorgeous shots!!!!
These are fantastic photos of the sun.
When I was young, living in tropical Borneo, and it was very very hot, I complained to my grandpa, why do we have the sun?
Grandpa said, Ann, the day when there is no sun, it will be a terrible day.
How wise he was.
Shenandoah Valley.
Strange, only last night, I was exchanging comments with Betsy. I told her when I was in Junior high school, I was taught," Oh Shenandoah, I long to hear you."
and this morning, I find out you are from Shenandoah Valley.
Love, love, love those pictures.God is the best artist.
Blessings,Ruth
Beautiful!
Third photo, where the sun's edge goes raggedy thanks to atmospheric aberration and the clouds, is hypnotic. I love the last one as well, as it reminds me of Japan, for some reason.
Frankly, they're all enough to make me catch my breath. Sunrises/sunsets will never get old. You have a wonderfully unique way of looking at the world, Ginny. Thanks for inspiring me to get outside when the sun heads into the horizon.
Oh Ginny - those pictures were absolutely beautiful! I loved them.
