Golden Slumbers

Golden slumbers fill your eyes
Smiles awake you when you rise
Sleep pretty darling, do not cry
And I will sing a lullabye

Once there was a way to get back homeward
Once there was a way to get back home
Sleep pretty darling, do not cry
And will sing a lullabye
Sir Paul McCartney

Yesterday I gave you the moon, today I give you the sun, and I wish I could give you the stars, my dear followers. I will have golden slumbers indeed, after we drove through this golden sunset and sat in a field watching it this evening. What we didn't know was that while we were watching it, a few other things were watching us. But that is for my next post. I hope Sir Paul knows that there is, indeed, a way to get back home.

"Now we know that if the earthly tent we live in is destroyed, we have a building from God, an eternal house in heaven, not built by human hands." 2 Cor. 5:1

Oh my goodness Ginny, I can see why you decided to post these photos first. What a gorgeous sunset, the golden orange color is stunning. Sunsets this time of the year seem to be the most colorful of all. Great photos, you captured the sunset in all its glory.

That is a great verse by Sir Paul.

What gorgeous photos. You have quite a talent and probably a wonderful camera. I have neither. But my intention is to get the camera one of these days.

So beautiful, Ginny. I have to confess that after our singing group has sung that song a hundred times - or more - I'm not so fond of it. Works for your photos, though.

I don't think I know that song by Sir Paul but the words are lovely. I'll have to look it up on youtube. Your photos are simply stunning and give to me a feeling of peace. Hugs Ginny. Big hugs. xx

Oh! that gold and sky. It is beautiful. This surpasses the gold of my photos. I'm married and I have two children, I am interested in the art, it's just a hobby. My life is not very interesting, I'm just a humble middle-class workers - low. A greeting.
