The Cosmos are all blooming now! So nice to see some colorful flowers in the midst of fall, with the leaves falling and the sun sinking earlier every night. But the cosmos don't care. They laugh at the sun as if it were summer, not such a bad example for all of us to follow. The word Cosmos comes from the Greek, meaning a balanced universe. It stands for all things orderly, and love. I see love as being from the heart and not orderly at all. But there is one who has ordered everything in the universe and has a love that forgives daily and constantly. Order and love both, who knew?
"Dominion and awe belong to God; he establishes order in the heights of heaven. Can his forces be numbered? Upon whom does his light not rise? Job 25:2

Beautiful post Ginny. Amazing, bright color for Autumn and you have shared some exquisite photos. Blessings to you and Phil this evening.
I felt his forgiveness this week and it was wondrous.
What a beautiful flower. I love that shade of pink!
Hi Ginny, I have seen so many beautiful Cosmos blooming this time of year --on several blogs this week... Yours are so pretty...Are they in your yard?
There's nothing better than love and order... We all need them both...
Great post
Hugs,
Betsy
It's so good to see flowers at bloom and bees at work! I know I'll miss them when winter arrives.
These are beautiful pictures of the cosmos. The color is wonderful. Thanks for both the pictures and your words.
I just love the intense center that gently fades to the edge of the flower! So beautiful! Love Cosmos and its delicate leaves. God is good! What a lovely post!
Cosmos add so much color to the fall of the year, I am seeing them all over town right now. Yours are so beautiful, that is my favorite color.
Your little insect visitor is a Woodland Skipper, I saw some on the Cosmos here last week. The way they hold their wings is a little odd, I'm not sure why they do that.
Thank you for such a lovely post, Ginny. I enjoyed looking at those beautiful flowers! Enjoy the weekend,
Jane
Beautiful flowers!! I love them!
Oh!Oh!Oh!Oh!Oh!Oh!Oh! that is what I am saying about the header and each photo as i scroll down and a big WOW for each of them also.
forgot to say, order IS God's love and forgivness and nature shows all of His love to us. He is our balance and a good thing He knew we needed it.
Once again - gorgeous pictures. I love that shade of pink and how nice to 'dot' fall with it.
Happy Halloween

It is so nice to see pretty flowers....ours are all sleeping for the winter....
Oh, we are so past that season now. Milder again just now but after all the frost and even snow in between there is not much colour left.
I never really knew what cosmos meant...but this flower is beautiful....
I do like cosmos. They are summery even when it's no longer summer.
Simply spectacular spills of such beauty.
Those are gorgeous flowers - and definitely my colour!
Thamks, Ginny for the lesson. I always wonder why they are called Cosmos. They are so beautiful. How big is your bush?
Did you watch British Chef Jamie Oliver in America? I am surprised that kids in that school get breakfast in school.
Watching cosmos dance in the breeze is such delight ....
What a beautiful post, Ginny. A beautiful flower also. So stunningly arrayed in a brilliant pink. have a wonderful weekend :-)
Wonderful sequence with this beautiful flower as the protagonist, with splendid colors, just need to smell it. Greetings.
Yes, Ginny, God is a God of law and order and a God of Love and forgiveness. Well-spoken!
I planted some chocolate cosmos and thought they came up but I cannot find them now. These are lovely.

Hi Ginny, I too, like the Cosmos and have frequently had them in my Calif. gardens. I want to try them here in TN and am thinking that they will grow well. Nice Scripture today. Have a great weekend!
So delicate, so beautiful, and in that delicious shade too! Your photographs are stunning!!!
Our Cosmos are gone now...but yours are so beautiful and you did a great job at those compositions!
very inspiring Ginny. I always love how you relate simple things such as this beautiful flower to life, love and faith. thanks for being such an inspiration to me.
These are gorgeous! When my garden is in full swing (flowers then vegies next) are generally what I mean..cosmos are always included- what great background info!
Yes..something we should follow! You never mentioned what kind of camera you picked up, well??? Outstanding- but as I said, you have an eye! I often think while I appreciate humor..I have another side (believe this is only a reflection of where or what we came from- or out of)?..order is something I'm so grateful for due to the confusion which had been apart of my past..I think perhaps I paint that easily with a loving brush but come off harsh..very interesting and thought provoking!
