A Waltz and A Ballet

Come, my friends, and join me as we take a break from the cold chill of winter and tour Vienna! First we will visit the Golden Hall and listen to some waltzes played by a philharmonic. After that some joyous festival dancers, an old monastery, beautiful ballet in a wonderfully gorgeous and misty castle, and finally the Blue Danube!! No, I did not go there, but took these pictures as I watched a memorable T.V. show on P.B.S. I just had to share, so come dance with me!

An ordinary night with ordinary sheep and ordinary shepherds. And were it not for a God who loves to hook an “extra” on the front of the ordinary, the night would have gone unnoticed. The sheep would have been forgotten, and the shepherds would have slept the night away. But God dances among the common. And that night He did a waltz.

One of the joys of TV and PBS. It can take us to the most wonderful places.

I'm not much of a dancer, but I enjoyed the trip to Vienna. You got some great pictures from the TV.

Hi Ginny!! I hope the new year is on the right track for you and it will treat you kindly.

It's been a long time since you've stopped by to say hello, but in any case, I wanted to swing by "Let Your Light Shine" to wish you the best of 2013!!

Loved the PBS photos.

Beautiful pictures. I can never get good shots when I take pictures of the tv. They are always full of lines and look horrible

I would have thought you were there Ginny, the photos are great. Watching the ballet is a nice break from winter's dreary cold.

I did join Meowbook and I'm learning it too. I just sent you a friend request. I joined as Judy W.

Nice article Ginny. Vienna is one of the top cities of Europe. Occasionally I have to go there for work.
