A Place In The Sun

I often think that the night is more alive and more richly colored than the day.  ~Vincent Van Gogh

I snapped this sunset about two hours ago, up on a hill by the horse farm. Peaceful and free from drug dealers, honking horns, and all other distractions. I felt if I could breathe it all in, I might live forever.

God brings death and God brings life, brings down to the grave and raises up. God brings poverty and God brings wealth; he lowers, he also lifts up. He puts poor people on their feet again; he rekindles burned-out lives with fresh hope, Restoring dignity and respect to their lives— a place in the sun! For the very structures of earth are God’s; he has laid out his operations on a firm foundation.

Good Morning Ginny.

The sky is so pretty in the evening, and it's a shame that this is the time of the day when so many people are SO busy trying to finish up the day and get ready for the next. I appreciate your beautiful photos.

Beautiful pictures! I love the quote by Gogh. I wonder if that thought inspired hom to paint Starry Night.
