Very interesting Ginny. Being a Southern girl born & bred the first thing I think of when I see copper tubing looped like that is a moonshine still. Could this be where those sweet Baldwin sister cooked up Papa's recipe?

Looks like some sort of heating coil or copper tubing.
My first thought was some kind of distillery equipment.
some kind ofcopper piping, I see the soldering at the end, if it wasn't the waltons I'd say it was from a still for making booze!!!, lol!

I'm guessing copper. My dad has had a plumbing business for a long time and I remember a lot of copper. :)
PS...Ginny, you asked if the bird story I posted on Hootin' Anni's is about the same bird I found and photographed/shared on my birding blog...no, this one I finally spotted at another park is the Chuck Will's Widow, not the Phalarope I shared at I'd Rather B Birdin'.
I was hoping you had the answer to your puzzling photo. Will try and check back later in the day.

the coils the liquor runs through to get in that little round barrel on the table with a spigot on it... OR coils in a fridge, but i did not see a fridge. OR i just don't know
