“When I determined to load up on
wisdom and examine everything taking place on earth, I realized that if you
keep your eyes open day and night without even blinking, you’ll still never figure out the meaning of what God is
doing on this earth. Search as hard as you like, you’re not going to make sense
of it.”

Think To Blink
Do you know what CVS is? No, I'm not talking about the pharmacy, I'm talking about Computer Vision Syndrome. If you spend a good bit of time on the computer and have problems with your eyes, like being tired or itchy, it could be that you are not blinking enough! Normally, we blink about 18 times a minute. But when we look at a computer screen, we blink almost 70% less. And then your eye muscles become dried out and tired. So after every 20 minutes of screen time, close your eyes for 20 seconds, they will get the moisture and rest they need. It is the 20/20 rule! So remember, think to blink! This is a picture of Anne Marie three years ago when she was learning to wink. I snapped my header from the T.V. screen.

Anne Marie's wink is so cute.
I didn't know about CVS. Sometimes if I'm on the computer too long my eyes will get tired so I go do something else for awhile.
Your header shot is very cool.

My eyes always get dried out when I play too many video games:)

The picture of Anne Marie learning to blink is very cute :-)
I didn't know this, so thanks for the information. Anne Marie makes a cute 'winker'.
I didn't know that. Perhaps that is why I got glaucoma from spending 30 years working on a computer.
I didn't know about this, Ginny...thank you so much for sharing.
Good advice, now if only I can remember this.
I totally agree and believe you. I think we spend too much time on the computer - but kids spend wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy too much time on them. Love, sandie
Wow, this could be my problem...my eyes are always watery and itchy. Well, not always...but sure does give me problems.
Cool header and Anne Marie is adorable! Great advice!
I know when I spend too much time in front of the computer I always end up with a headache. I'll keep this in mind and remind myself to blink :)
Anne Marie's wink is adorable
Oh goodness yes I have this. I am on the computer so much at work that I swear it's made my vision terrible the past few years!

She is such a doll! Ginnny, I think if you click the top area of the box you will be able to get through to the new page. You could also try the small facebook icon that is next to my photo. Have a good day. Blessings...Mary
I find my eyes needing more and more computer breaks. It's a bit frustrating at times.
Sounds like good advice. I should probably do it even more often than every 20 minutes...
