Posh Piggy Palace

I like pigs. Dogs look up to us. Cats look down on us. Pigs treat us as equals. ~ Winston Churchill

Don't worry, Phil and I have not gotten pet pigs! We were actually driving down a major highway, and there was a big field on one side. We saw what looks like a train car that was made into a pig house! Now this is really fancy for a pig, around here the pig houses are little more than dirt hovels very close to the ground. As we watched, these two perky porcines came trotting out to see us, notice how well they blend in with the mud? Pigs are curious creatures. I would like to meet the man who created this pig mansion, we need an extension on our house.

“For in the day of trouble he will keep me safe in his dwelling; he will hide me in the shelter of his sacred tent and set me high upon a rock.”
Psalm 27

Those fellows do have some very posh digs. What a great use for an old train car. Cute piggies too!

Not exactly what one would expect to come out of there! :)

Ginny, I just love how you see what so many people would just past by. I can just hear you saying to Phil, "stop, did you see that? I have to get some pictures!". And then you let us in on the fun!
Love the Scripture too, so totally true in my own life!

LOL! Now this is different!! Gracie's groomer owns a pig and I just saw on facebook that he got a really nice outside 'house' for it. Some people love pigs. I think babies are cute... but I don't believe I'd want one for a pet. But that's just me.

This post was cool... And the Adventures of Ginny and Phil continue....

The creative reuse of things meant for the garbage dump never ceases to amaze me. You have an amazing eye for the unusual, Ginny. I'm so glad you share what you see with us. Have a wonderful day. Blessings...Mary

Do you have any ideas to help fix this problem?
