But after doing some research, she was RIGHT!!! Flip flops have been around for at least 6,000 years! They were made from papyrus leaves and other natural things. Who KNEW? Well, Ella did! Here are some pictures I found on the web of ancient flip flops, and even ones for babies! So when you wear flip flops, think of Cleopatra and walk like an Egyptian!
“Yet the Lord says, “During the
forty years that I led you through the wilderness, your clothes did not wear
out, nor did the sandals on your
feet.”

Hi Ginny Didn't know that fact. Learning is always fun. Some of those older flip flops are very like ones I bought in Africa when the Africans make them in their villages.

Hi Ginny, So cute! My niece's wedding was on the beach in CA so the wedding party (gents) wore Flop-flop thongs. Was very nice even though casual. Have a super Friday tomorrow!
Funny, very nice picture.
