The Waiting
Adjusting her music
Finally playing!
And posing when it is all over.
Dad and grandpa looked on proudly
And so did I!
Last Friday we went to Anne Marie's spring piano recital. She was so poised for an eight year old!
“Good people, cheer God!
Right-living people sound best when praising. Use guitars to reinforce your
Hallelujahs! Play his
praise on a grand piano! Invent your own new song to him; give him a trumpet
fanfare.”

She looks lovely, Ginny, and her dress is so pretty!
Yes, she looks so matured in the first picture! The other day she was playing the violin, yes? and now the piano? wow.. she is gifted!
She's looking so grown up. Time sure does fly. What song did she play?
i wish i could hear her play. she looks so great sitting there.. i love the arty look of the header pic.. true art of true talent... she gets prettier by the day
I'm guessing that she is a great pianist. This is one thing that I wish I had learned to do....guess it's not tooooo late!! I love to hear the piano being played..
sweet pics.
Anne Marie is such a joy to see and, I'm sure, to hear play the piano. Darling dress on a darling girl.
Best,
Bonnie
How fantastic! Anne Marie is so pretty in the dress and I bet she plays piano really well! You must be very proud :-) I wish I could hear her play!
I am sure she was the best one, looks so happy.
She is gorgeous! I bet her concert was wonderful. What did she play?
She is poised for sure. You have every reason to be proud.
Love the verse you chose to go with your post.
Congratulations to Anne Marie. I remember when my daughter was in a recital at that age. It brings back memories. Love her sun dress!
I can tell how proud you all are of her... I took piano lessons from age 7-18--and were in many many recitals. Back then, we had to memorize our pieces.... What did she play?
Hugs,
Betsy
You have every right to be proud of this darling girl. She is so talented and seems to enjoy it. I love piano music and wish I had the opportunity to play when young.
She doesn't look the least bit nervous, I would be in her place. All of you have every right to be proud of such a beautiful young lady. Have Anne Marie and Ella ever played the piano and violin together? The music would be heavenly.
She looks so pretty in that cute dress and not a bit nervous! I would have been! Sweet photos, Ginny.
She has a right to be proud at the age of eight, playing a solo!!! I think it's wonderful that she can read music which is a rarity in itself! Congratulations Grandma...:)JP
She is a beauty. I enjoy watching the recitals. Such talented children.
Awwww, this melts my heart. You have every right to be so proud. As does Anne Marie. She has a talent and hope she will continue to work on it to perfection.
She is just so adorable..and I noticed that she seemed so composed, too.
She is such a little lady. I love her smile of accomplishment.
She is precious. I know you are so proud of her and love special occasions like this.
She radiates confidence. I so dreaded recitals as a child that I found no joy in music.
Your delightful grand looks like she finds joy in music as do those who love her and her music.
