The Rainbows

We had rain almost every day last week. Some were the kind of rain that the sun comes out right after. And you know what THAT means!

“God continued, I’m putting my rainbow in the clouds, a sign of the covenant between me and the Earth. From now on, when I form a cloud over the Earth and the rainbow appears in the cloud, I’ll remember my covenant between me and you and everything living, that never again will floodwaters destroy all life. When the rainbow appears in the cloud, I’ll see it and remember the eternal covenant between God and everything living, every last living creature on Earth.”
Genesis 9

We've had quite a few days in a row of rain but the last couple days here have just been hot. Not that I'm complaining, I'll take heat over cold any day.
Love your rainbows. I can't remember the last time I saw one

Rainbows sometimes do not show up well in pictures but WOW these are certainly an exception. Fantastic shots.

it is a beautiful rainbow, Ihave never seen a whole big one like this, just pieces and not many of those. and have zero pictures of one. might be the fact if it is raining i don't drive and am not outside when it quits.. it would have to be in my back yard...LOL

Lovely rainbows. We do get one here behind the building where I live sometimes, but I only see part of it from my window, and if I try to get out there with the camera, as often as not it's gone again by the time I come out!

That is a gorgeous rainbow! We had rain last week but I only saw one rainbow and it was so faint I couldn't get it to show up on my photos.

Hi Ginny, those rainbows, as my grandfather used to say, are humdingers.

News - I looked at cameras yesterday. Like yours. I'm now on the great upgrade my camera hunt.

Don sends a big hello to you and Phil.

Hi Ginny, We Christians usually are just "Wowed" by the sight of any and all rainbows. I count myself among this group. I do love your nature pictures - especially of the Moon and your rainbows! Hope you are feeling fine. Have a wonderful week!

You've captured some gorgeous rainbows. We had plenty of rain last week, but no sunshine afterwards. So I'm just going to enjoy your pictures.

Hi There, We are home from a trip to the gorgeous West VA mountains –where we celebrated our anniversary… I’ll be blogging about this time for awhile –since it was so special.

Hope you are feeling better now. We were not too far from you --across some mountains in West VA. IF you look for Lewisburg, WV on the map--you will see that it's not too far from Waynesville. In fact, when we were up on one of the higher mountains there, we could see the Skyline Drive area in the distance.

Great rainbow.

Hugs,

Betsy
