Red, White, & Blue

Around here, people do a lot of festive decorating for the Fourth Of July. There will be lots of parties, fireworks, and good food. And thanks for our wonderful freedom. What will you be doing on the Fourth?

“And rejoice! Celebrate all the good things that God, your God, has given you and your family…”
Deuteronomy 26

Love that mailbox in your header. On the 4th we'll just be sitting at home but Saturday we'll be traveling to see my husbands kids and newest grandchild

Love the pair of Uncles on the porch beneath the window.

Happy 4th.

We old duffers stay home and let the young ones celebrate in the extreme heat of July! We'll watch the fireworks from our window...luckily we can see 'em from home.

Oh my goodness, your area really does go all out for the 4th. I love the mailboxes and that cute little pig planter. I've only seen a few flags around here.

We are staying home and playing with the four very active kittens. Maybe grill some steaks.

Hi Ginny, I am back to answer your question about the orange cart in one of my photos. There is a bicyclist you pay to give you tours of the city and you sit in the back. We have them here in DC but a slightly different design.
